About the Indian Residential School - Resolution Health Support Program

The Aboriginal Health & Wellness Centre's Indigenous-led Safer Consumption Site (SCS) provides low-barrier, culturally safe, and trauma-informed care for people who use substances. Grounded in harm reduction and AHWC's holistic Medicine Wheel philosophy, the site offers a welcoming, judgment-free environment where every participant is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

We recognize that each person's healing journey is unique. Whether someone is seeking safer substance use supports, connections to treatment, healthcare, or other vital resources, we meet people where they are and walk alongside them at their own pace.
